TERMS & CONDITIONS
The terms applying to our quotations, shipment requests and services.
Quotation Disclaimer
Submission of a quotation request does not constitute acceptance of a consignment or create a contract of carriage.
All quotations and shipment requests remain subject to verification, availability, applicable restrictions, final shipment details and Reinex Freight Services's terms and conditions.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of logistics, freight and related services by Reinex Freight Services ("we", "us", "our") and apply to quotations, shipment requests and services. By requesting a quotation or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Definitions
"Consignment" means the goods entrusted to us for transportation. "Customer" means the person or business requesting or using our services. "Carrier" means any third party engaged to transport a consignment.
3. Quotations
All quotations are provided for information and are subject to verification, availability, applicable restrictions, final shipment details and these terms. A quotation does not constitute acceptance of a consignment or create a contract of carriage.
4. Acceptance of Consignments
All consignments are accepted subject to verification, documentation, lawful ownership and source where applicable, transportation availability, carrier acceptance, security arrangements, insurance requirements, customs requirements, sanctions and regulatory screening, and all applicable laws. We reserve the right to decline any proposed consignment.
5. Customer Obligations
- Provide complete, accurate and truthful information about the contents, nature, quantity, weight, dimensions, value and ownership of every consignment.
- Ensure that goods are properly packaged, labelled and prepared for transportation.
- Provide all documentation required for customs, regulatory and security purposes.
- Comply with all applicable laws, sanctions and carrier requirements.
6. Prohibited & Restricted Goods
We do not accept goods that are prohibited by law or by carrier requirements. Certain goods may require licences, permits, specialist packaging, additional documentation or prior approval. Please contact us before presenting any potentially dangerous, controlled, restricted or unusually valuable goods. See our Prohibited & Restricted Goods page for more information.
7. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer and may be subject to customs clearance and other factors outside our control.
8. Charges & Payment
Charges are as quoted or agreed. Additional charges may apply where the actual consignment differs from the information provided, where additional services are required, or where duties, taxes or storage charges arise. Payment terms will be advised at the time of booking.
9. Liability
Our liability in respect of any consignment is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable carrier's terms and conditions, and may be further limited by the declared value and any insurance arranged. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Insurance
Unless expressly agreed in writing, insurance is not included. Customers are responsible for arranging adequate insurance cover for their consignments.
11. Claims & Time Limits
Claims must be notified to us promptly and in any event within the time limits prescribed by applicable law and the applicable carrier's terms. Claims should include the shipment reference and supporting documentation.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, industrial action, customs or regulatory action, carrier disruption, or other circumstances outside our control.
